Jaime Fernández Madero is a lawyer and a consultant in strategy and management of professional service firms and has a long standing experience in the legal industry.
He is a founder at “Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi”, one of the top law firms in Argentina. He acted as its managing partner for 10 years until 2009, when he left the firm to have a full-time dedication in the field of management of PSF. He had a leading role in the transformation of the firm from a successful banking and M&A boutique to a leading full-service firm.
Jaime Fernández Madero took a Master in Organizational Studies (2011) in the Universidad de San Andrés, one of the leading business schools in Argentina and Latinamérica. He wrote a thesis entitled “Identification Process in Professional Service Firms” and a book “Organizing Professional Service Firms. The Case of the Lawyers”, published in 2012 by Thomson Reuters La Ley. He writes a column on management and organizations in “Auno”, a specialized magazine for lawyers and law firms in Argentina.
He is developing a center of professional services in the Universidad de San Andrés, with various activities aimed at developing and enhancing the management and organizational capabilities of PSF and professionals and the investigation of organizational matters in the world of professionals.
Jaime Fernández Madero has a law degree from the Universidad Católica in Argentina (1980) and a Master in Comparative Law from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas (1982).
